Role at the BioEscalator:
- Ensure the smooth operation of core laboratory facilities and provide training of shared equipment.
- Lab set-up, maintenance and repair of equipment.
- Health & safety management.
Khwaja has over 15 years of experience in laboratory and facilities management, having worked in and run medical research laboratories throughout his career. Khwaja started as a researcher at the University of Oxford in 1996 progressing to laboratory and facilities manager in 2005. Before joining the BioEscalator, he was the facilities manager for the Nuffield Department of Clinical Neurosciences (NDCN) at the University of Oxford.
