​​​​​​​One of the highlights of the BioEscalator year is the Pitch Battle, not least because of the £2000 prize! Tenants really embrace the opportunity to hone their pitches for review by an investor panel. Congratulations to this year’s overall winner, Oxford Cancer Analytics, and the other prize winners too.

In other BioEscalator events our joint seminar with OBN and the University of Oxford Department of Oncology focused on the fascinating topic of precision prevention, an area in which Oxford is taking the lead.

Finally, impacting human health without negative impact elsewhere is important to us and we were delighted to announce LEAF (laboratory efficiency assessment framework) accreditation for the BioEscalator and some of our tenants this summer. A great achievement for all involved.
