Kyttaro seeks an outstanding, highly driven and top-performing Associate Scientist / Scientist with experience in cellular biology to support Kyttaro’s anti-inflammatory drug discovery platform technology program.


The successful candidate will:

1) lead development and validation of cell-based functional assays to advance the development of our technology platform using various applications including but not limited to flow cytometry, western blot, ELISA and immunoprecipitation;

2) work closely with chemist, molecular, structural, and computational biologists, as well as immunologists, medicinal chemists and biochemical researchers in a multidisciplinary environment to characterize compounds with therapeutic and diagnostic application in inflammatory disease;

3) be able to confidently lead his/her areas of responsibility as well as interface with the broader team, communicating results across disciplines.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to interact and work with leading scientists and business leaders from premier institutions and to help translate emerging therapeutic ideas into reality.



  • Support building up a cellular biology lab for cell-based functional assays
  • Lead the cellular biology work to support the development of our technology platform
  • Design and execute cellular assays to screen peptides using flow cytometry, ELISA-based techniques, western blotting, immunoprecipitation and reporter assays
  • Identify and develop suitable techniques / experimental protocols for cell-based assays in collaboration with other team members
  • Meticulously conduct experiments and analyse and interpret the data
  • Manages project from initiation to launch, while balancing multiple project assignments
  • Maintain accurate experimental records
  • Collaborate closely with academic partners and/or contract research organisations
  • Write reports and present findings to colleagues



  • PhD with a strong background in cellular biology and molecular biology
  • Mature and broad skills in cell-based and biochemical assays such as flow cytometry, ELISA, western blotting, immunoprecipitation, enzyme assay and/or reporter gene assays
  • Experience in mammalian cell culture, peripheral blood, and/or buffy coat cell extraction and handling
  • Ability to independently design, execute and interpret scientific experiments
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Possess flexibility and excitement for new challenges
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple projects



  • PhD in biology, life sciences or a relevant field with +2 years of industry experience is preferred
  • Experience in chemokines, cytokines, cell migration assay, nanoparticle modification and/or fluorescence polarization assay is preferred
  • Experience in inflammatory and/or cardiovascular disease is preferred
