Fabiha Ahmed
Apprentice Laboratory Technician
Fabiha's focus is to assist the BioEscalator companies by maintaining the smooth running of the shared facilities and laboratories.
Role at the BioEscalator:
- Assisting resident companies with laboratory services
- Training tenants on equipment in shared facilities
- Repair and maintenance of equipment.
Fabiha joined the BioEscalator team in August 2022 after completing her A levels in chemistry, biology and business. She will work at the BioEscalator for two years while studying for her BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Applied Science. This apprenticeship will expand Fabiha's scientific knowledge and help her gain more profound insight while working in a natural lab environment, allowing her to prepare for her future profession in science.
Fabiha works closely with Dr Khwaja Islam to provide high-quality laboratory services and create a supportive environment for the BioEscalator tenants.
