Professor Angela Russell is an expert in medicinal chemistry, renowned for her work in regenerative medicine, cancer therapeutics, and degenerative disease treatment. As a co-founder of spin-out companies MuOx Ltd and OxStem Ltd, she has successfully translated scientific discoveries into promising clinical candidates.

With a joint appointment in the Departments of Chemistry and Pharmacology, Professor Russell is also actively teaching and mentoring the next generation of scientists. She is a member of prominent research institutes, including the Oxford Stem Cell Institute and the Cancer Research UK Oxford Centre. She has received numerous accolades for her contributions to biomedical innovation.
