Professor Duncan Richards, formerly the Climax Professor of Clinical Therapeutics and director of the Oxford Clinical Trial Research Unit (OCTRU), led efforts at Oxford focusing on advancing new treatments from early-phase clinical trials into clinical practice.

 

As Professor of Medicine and Head of the Department of Medicine at the University of Cambridge, his focus is on delivering the department's vision to increase the efficacy of translating its world-class fundamental research into clinical practice and patient well-being.
