PULSE Check – How to land a winning investor pitch

This event will introduce attendees to how to prepare for and deliver a winning investor pitch, whether virtually or in person. You will leave with practical tools and actionable approaches that will support you in all your future investor pitches.
The event will be led by Pippa Bateman of Pippa Bateman Communications and Theo Godfrey and Sarah Innes of CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang LLP.
By the end of the session, you will:
- Know how to get under the skin of their audience, by exploring their drivers & mindset so that you can position their proposition explicitly for the people listening
- Understand the key features that an investor is looking for in an investee company and business plan, and the issues that commonly cause an investor to walk away
- Know how to structure outcome-driven content that speaks directly to the audience’s viewpoint, appetite and concerns
- Know how to harness mind, body and voice so that you can be their best, even when you are under pressure – particularly focusing on techniques for virtual presentations
- Know how to win at Q&A
There will also be opportunities to network with other innovative startup leaders and supporters, using leading digital tools to create an experience as close to in-person meeting as possible.
