While Academic Founder, Non-Executive Director and Chief Medical Officer of Ultromics, Professor Leeson helped translate academic innovation into a globally recognised health technology company. Ultromics, which is a leader in detection and characterisation of heart failure, has raised over £70m to date. Professor Leeson also chairs a awards panel for the UK NIHR i4i programme, which funds translational research for medical devices, diagnostics and digital health.
