Gail Vallis, Corporate Solicitor at Gardner Leader LLP
Gail advises on business and share sale and purchases, internal restructuring, shareholders’ agreements and articles of association as well as corporate governance and providing general corporate advice. Gail has particular experience of the life sciences sector. Prior to qualification as a solicitor, Gail worked as a project manager in biopharmaceutical contract research before moving to the in-house legal team of Merck KGaA. Here she advised the life sciences, pharmaceutical and consumer health businesses of Merck Millipore (Now Millipore Sigma), Merck Healthcare and Seven Seas amongst others. Gail provided the UK legal post-acquisition integration support for the acquisition of Sigma Aldrich – the largest acquisition in the group’s history. After 10 years in the life science sector, in both commercial and legal roles, Gail made the move to private practice advising clients in this sector along with others.
Vicky Schollar, Head of Employment at Gardner Leader LLP
Vicky is a highly experienced employment lawyer and joined the firm in January 2024 to head up the Employment Team. Vicky advises clients across a variety of sectors, but has particular experience in advising SME’s and clients in the education and charity sectors. Vicky works closely with her clients to understand their business and to provide them with commercial and pragmatic employment law advice.
