Join this OBN Digital BioTuesday, in collaboration with Bruntwood SciTech, which will address the potential that RNA technologies have to disrupt the product development and drug discovery landscape as we know it.

The event will feature a welcome from Kath Mackay (Managing Director at Alderley Park), a keynote from MiNA Therapeutics, and a series of showcase presentations from companies who are using RNA in their product development.

Messenger RNA molecules carry the genetic information needed to make proteins and trigger an immune response, while RNA interference can modify gene expression. Researchers have been studying and working with RNA molecules for decades. However, on the example of the mRNA vaccines, the pandemic has accelerated this transformative technology and following unprecedented industry collaborations, we have now seen the world’s first mRNA vaccine being rolled out to the wider population - this session will look at the future potential for this exciting technology.
