Revolutionising healthcare innovation: Putting communities first
Tuesday, 23 March 2021, 2pm to 3pm
Revolutionising Healthcare Innovation: Putting Communities First, brings industry, policy, academia and entrepreneurs together to open a discussion on how these stakeholders can work collaboratively to stimulate community-centered innovation for health.
The Novartis Innovation Prize: Assistive Tech for Multiple Sclerosis (MS) was launched in 2020 to promote solutions to mobility challenges faced by the MS community, and to increase awareness of the need for “outside-in” innovation that directly involves these communities from day one.
The panel for this event includes the winner of the prize, Professor Chas Bountra, a leader from the disability tech space, a leading patient advocate, the EU Commission, and the university’s Pro-Vice-Chancellor For Innovation. He is also a member of the management board for the BioEscalator.
Professor Bountra will be considering the future of innovation in healthcare in a post-COVID era, and how industry, policy, academia and entrepreneurs can work collaboratively together to shape this.
